 Caring adults needed to help children learn to read

 Oasis Program seeking volunteers

 Oasis is working with the Gresham-Barlow School District to match caring adults with
 children who are struggling to learn to read.

                                          Time commitment: 1 hour per week, during school day.
                                         
                                          Tasks: Work with first through fifth grade child on building reading and language skills,
                                          self-esteem, and positive attitudes toward learning.
                                       
                                          -Oasis provides training, materials, and on-going support free of charge.
                                         
                                          -No teaching experience required.

                                          Fall Training Dates: January 29 from 9 a.m. to Noon and January 30 from 9 a.m. to Noon.
