The Gresham-Barlow School Board is hosting an Education Summit on October 30, 2012, from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Grace Community Church located at 800 Southeast Hogan Road in Gresham.

 

The purpose of the summit is to update parents, educators, and community members on the work of the district to achieve its mission “Every Student Prepared for Success” and to seek feedback on changes the district could make to ensure the students of our community thrive.

Forum attendees will gather in small groups. Facilitators will lead discussions on how to increase student achievement, alternative programs needed to ensure every student graduates on time, and how the community can maintain its investment in the district’s 19 schools.
