Students, parents, school staff, and community members
join with architects to
become part of the
school bond "design team"
School staff, students, parents, community members, gathered together at each of the district’s 18 schools to participate in a collaborative brainstorming session. Their goal—to brainstorm and decide how proposed school bond improvements would work best at their school.
Architects worked with the participants through an interactive “charrette” process. The architects sketched up ideas and responded to feedback and insights. The work led to the creation of a variety of possible design solutions.
The charrette boards below are the results of those activities. If the bond passes, design review teams will build upon this work and create final building designs.
