    Test to Stay

    Test to Stay Program:

In the Test to Stay Program, unvaccinated students, with parent permission on file, who are exposed to COVID-19 during the school day and do not have symptoms of illness, can continue to attend school. Students will receive onsite testing on specified days during the week after exposure. Students who have negative test results and do not have COVID-19 symptoms can stay at school, however they will need to wear a mask during extracurricular activities and will need to quarantine outside of school.

    To participate:

-Sign a testing consent form and turn it into your student’s school

-Agree to follow Test to Stay Program requirements, including quarantining outside of school and wearing a mask when participating in extracurricular activities

-Your student will test twice at school within a 7-day period following the last contact with the positive case.

-Test 1: Immediately after being identified as a close contact

    -Test 2: By day 5

Note: The Test to Stay Program is not an option for students exposed during athletics or extracurricular activities, or those who are exposed at home or in the community at large.

Reminder for families of vaccinated students:

If your child is fully vaccinated and exposed to COVID-19, they do not have to quarantine as long as they remain free of symptoms.
