SAT/ ACT
- Sign up for spring & fall tests
- Collegeboard.com & act.org
- Fee waivers are available for free & reduced lunch student
- Sign up to send your scores to four schools for free!!
- Vocational/community colleges don’t require these tests but many merit scholarships do
Career Related Graduation Requirements
- Job shadow by the end of your junior year
- Extended essay (due May senior year)

- Apply from August – June and beyond!!!!
- Scholarships within colleges/ local / national
- Begin preparing essays for college admissions and scholarships

- November – February -College applications due- watch your dates!!
- Sept- June – scholarships
- Jan 1st – submit FAFSA - grants- loans- work study – EFC- estimated family contribution
- March – award letter & acceptance letter
- May 1st – accept a school
National College Fair- October 23rd & 24th

- January 1st submit your FAFSA application online
- If you plan on filing a FAFSA in January, request a PIN now at www.fafsa.ed.gov (this will save time when you file the FAFSA).

- Retain copies for yourself
- 2 week notice (ask in the fall)
- Thank you notes
Transcripts
- 24 hour notice
- You are responsible for mailing them to the appropriate college/ scholarship
