Clever is our student single sign-on portal, which is used for students to access curriculum applications. Students log into Clever by using their GBSD email address. Once signed in, students have instant access to a number of applications used in their classrooms without a need to sign in again.
Clever can be accessed from the Student Resources page on your student's school website, or by clicking here.
Please follow the directions in this guide.
Google Classroom is a tool for teachers to assign and share content, distribute coursework, and communicate with students. Students can access Google Classroom via Clever, or by signing into their Google account.
If you are having issues logging into Clever, make sure you are using your full student email address (e.g. "email@example.com"). If you are still having an issue logging in, please contact your school for further assistance.
StudentVue and ParentVue can both be accessed by clicking here. If you have forgotten your password, there is a "Forgot Password" link on the login screen. If your account is locked or need further assistance, please contact your child's school.
Chrome should automatically open when you sign into the Chromebook. However, if it doesn't open, or gets closed, there are two ways to reopen it. In the dock, find the Chrome icon that is yellow, red, green, and blue. If the icon isn't there, you can click on the circle in the far bottom left, and it will open a section that has apps. Chrome should be listed here.
For further technology questions, please contact your school. Your school will work to get you in touch with a staff member who is able to assist you, or pass along further information to the Technology Department. You may now also get in touch by calling our Family Tech Assistance Line at 503-258-4733.
