Letter from GBSD Board
Dear GBSD Staff,
These past few weeks have been very challenging. Amid the uncertainties and chaos due to the escalation of the COVID-19 pandemic, you all have been going above and beyond developing plans and collaborating to accommodate learning and meeting the needs of all of our students.
We know our students and their families have different needs. All of you have risen to the task to meet those needs in various ways--- from providing meals, to distributing devices, to creating paper packets for students to continue learning.
In addition, the school district’s collaboration with our community partners has been essential in helping us provide basic needs and resources. We recognize and appreciate the value they bring to the Gresham-Barlow community.
As your board of directors, we are committed to continuing to show up for you and support you. We are cheering for you and we hope you are taking care of yourselves and your loved ones.
We applaud all of you for your individual acts of courage, persistence, and determination during this moment in time.
Thank you for everything you are doing during these challenging and uncertain times for our students and our schools. Your collective endeavors to help find solutions during this pandemic have not gone unnoticed. You are invaluable!
Sincerely,
Gresham-Barlow School District
