Gresham-Barlow School District announces plans for 21-22 school year

    Dear GBSD Community,

As we head toward the end of the 2020-21 school year, we wanted to share our current plans for the fall with the community.

The Gresham-Barlow School District intends to offer full-time, in-person instruction, five days per week in the 2021-22 school year.

The District will continue following the requirements and guidance issued by the Oregon Health Authority, the Multnomah County Health Department, and the Oregon Department of Education. Even so, we believe that many of the restrictions currently in place will change prior to September 1, 2021, therefore allowing the return to a full schedule of in-person learning this fall.

Instructional options for students in the 2021-22 school year:

    Grades K-5 for Fall

    In-Person Instruction:

All students will be returning to their enrolled elementary school

    Grades 6-12 for Fall

    In-Person Instruction:

Students will be returning to their enrolled middle or high school

Flexible Online Instruction with In-Person Options:

A few students, middle and high school, will have access to limited online opportunities based on individual needs. Additional details about the process and timelines for these flexible online options will be shared in the coming weeks.

If you have any questions about our plans for Fall 2021, we encourage you to submit them to our online listening system “Let’s Talk.”

    Sincerely,

    Gresham-Barlow School District
