Families invited to attend second School Safety Summit
Event focuses on creating welcoming school environments, rights and responsibilities of students, families and staff, and staff response to discipline incidents
The Gresham-Barlow Community is invited to join us for a second School Safety Summit scheduled for Tuesday, March 18.
Based on feedback shared at the Fall Safety Summit, the March 18 event will focus on our School Safety and Discipline Handbook.
The handbook outlines:
-How we work to establish a safe and welcoming environment for students
-The rights and responsibilities of students, families, and staff members
-Guidance on how staff respond to discipline incidents
During the meeting, we will also report on actions the district has taken based on your input and share some additional resources for families.
