“We are proud to partner with the Gresham High School Automotive Program and not only provide the donation of this vehicle but ‘free’ online training from Ford Motor Company as well.” said Gresham Ford General Manager Bess Wills. “This modern technology and training will give them marketable skills that are so needed in our industry.”

The GHS Automotive Program provides hands-on training for students to learn about and pursue career opportunities in the automotive industry. It has become a critical part of the high school’s impactful Career and Technical Education program.

"This generous donation has profoundly impacted my students by increasing their motivation and fostering a deeper sense of professionalism,” said GHS automotive program instructor Morgan Patterson. “They see their hard work and dedication translating into tangible outcomes, which has inspired them to take their studies and career preparation more seriously. It’s incredibly rewarding to witness their excitement and growing commitment to the field."

This cutting-edge Ford vehicle will provide students with hands-on learning opportunities in both traditional automotive repair and the evolving world of hybrid technology. Students will gain experience with advanced systems like hybrid powertrains, regenerative braking, and integrated software diagnostics.
