Hansen named principal of Hollydale Elementary School
School’s behavior support teacher to become new principal
The Gresham-Barlow School District announced today that Erin Hansen has been selected as Hollydale Elementary School’s new principal, pending school board approval.
Hansen brings 17 years of elementary-level teaching experience to the position. She has spent the past two years supporting teachers at Hollydale Elementary School as a behavior support teacher on special assignment (TOSA).
“Ms. Hansen takes a collaborative approach to her work. She is focused on building strong relationships with students, staff, and families,” said Superintendent James Hiu. “Her dedication to partnership building and her deep understanding of the Hollydale community will allow her to bring the Hollydale community together to work toward a shared vision.”
Hansen has worked at Hollydale Elementary since August 2022. Prior to that, she was a professional learning instructional coach in the Reynolds School District. She has taught multiple grades at the elementary level and also worked as a Title 1 reading specialist.
Hansen replaces Jessica Ramirez who resigned at the end of last school year.
