  • DCD Annual Canned Food Drive

Our DCD Leadership students, along with their advisor, Ms. Gibson, are gathering canned food again this year. The event is sponsored by the Clackamas County Fire Department. They have delivered 50 boxes for us to fill, so please help us reach our goal! While you are out shopping for groceries next week, for your Thanksgiving meal, grab a couple of extra items for those families who need support this holiday season.

The canned food drive will be December 2-13. All food donated needs to be non-perishable. This year we are making the canned food drive a classroom and house competition! Please make sure any food that you would like to be counted for house competition is clearly marked on the outside of the bag or with a slip inside the bag. Food that is not clearly labeled by house will be evenly distributed between houses.

Principal's Message

Ms. Keeton

Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Keeton

As Principal of Deep Creek-Damascus K-8 it is my pleasure to welcome you to our school! DCD is the only K-8 school in the Gresham-Barlow School District and we value the unique opportunity to develop relationships with students and families over their years here with us.

We are committed to providing an exceptional educational experience for our students.  We work to engage each child in rich, rigorous, and authentic learning experiences. Children are naturally curious, and we desire to foster and grow that curiosity in all subject areas.

We focus on developing the whole child, addressing the intellectual, academic and character growth of each one.  As you walk through our halls and visit our classrooms you will see evidence of meaningful academic work, caring relationships, and outstanding student art.

It is my pleasure and privilege to partner with the people who comprise the DCD Community as we learn, explore and grow together.
