Track & Field Begins Soon!
Track and Field will start for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students right after spring break is over, Monday 4/2/17. Athletic Participation/Insurance Waiver form, a current physical and the $80 fee ($40 for reduced lunch students, and $20 for free lunch students) are required prior to participating in track. Forms are available in the tower next to the office.
Although we are combined with West Orient, most of our practices will be at DCD. Practices will run from 3:30-5:00PM, Monday through Friday. There is not a bus after daily track practices.
We will have practices along with West Orient at Barlow High School at least two times. At these practices, we will work on all events together, as a team. There will be a bus to take the track participants to BHS for track practice and all track meets, but there is no return bus back to the school.
Distrist transfer information is now available to those interested in attending a Gresham-Barlow school.

Message from Superintendent and Chief of Police
Degrees and Certifications:
As Principal of Deep Creek-Damascus K-8 it is my pleasure to welcome you to our school! DCD is the only K-8 school in the Gresham-Barlow School District and we value the unique opportunity to develop relationships with students and families over their years here with us.
We are committed to providing an exceptional educational experience for our students. We work to engage each child in rich, rigorous, and authentic learning experiences. Children are naturally curious, and we desire to foster and grow that curiosity in all subject areas.
We focus on developing the whole child, addressing the intellectual, academic and character growth of each one. As you walk through our halls and visit our classrooms you will see evidence of meaningful academic work, caring relationships, and outstanding student art.
It is my pleasure and privilege to partner with the people who comprise the DCD Community as we learn, explore and grow together.
