The State of Oregon now requires schools to notify parents of their immunization exemption rates for each required vaccine. These rates will now be posted on our school’s website, in our school office and sent home to parents twice a year. The rates attached below are the exemption rates as of last spring. Schools are required to publish this information twice each school year. Approximately the second week of March we will post the updated rates. These new rates are collected and tallied in mid February.

To fill out a new application, click on the Parent link at the top of our web site, then click on Volunteer Information. That link will take you to the district Volunteer Information page, where you will find the link to fill out a new application. If you are not sure if you need to fill out a new application at this time, please e-mail our Head Secretary, Michelle Melville, at email@example.com.
Distrist transfer information is now available to those interested in attending a Gresham-Barlow school.
Degrees and Certifications:
As Principal of Deep Creek-Damascus K-8 it is my pleasure to welcome you to our school! DCD is the only K-8 school in the Gresham-Barlow School District and we value the unique opportunity to develop relationships with students and families over their years here with us.
We are committed to providing an exceptional educational experience for our students. We work to engage each child in rich, rigorous, and authentic learning experiences. Children are naturally curious, and we desire to foster and grow that curiosity in all subject areas.
We focus on developing the whole child, addressing the intellectual, academic and character growth of each one. As you walk through our halls and visit our classrooms you will see evidence of meaningful academic work, caring relationships, and outstanding student art.
It is my pleasure and privilege to partner with the people who comprise the DCD Community as we learn, explore and grow together.
