Child Development Center

The Child Development Center at Gresham High School serves infants to preschool age children.

Our program thrives on providing an equitable and responsive learning environment for our young learners. We work on all skills including social emotional learning, gross and fine motor skills, communications, literacy and problem solving skills.

We offer care Monday-Friday from 7:20-3:45 pm during the school year. If interested please complete the waitlist for the infant or toddler rooms. Please note that we prioritize our teen parents’ enrollment. Our program offers transportation.

Our preschool is a Preschool for All program. Enrollment is done through Multnomah County. To learn more about Preschool for All and apply for our program, please visit the Preschool for All Website.

Education Pathways Program Connections

A unique aspect of our program is that Gresham-High School Students who are interested in early childhood education can take classes that allow them to gain valuable experience in our preschool. Our GHS students interact with the preschoolers through facilitating activities, planning lessons and supporting the classroom educators.

Children with Special Needs
Our staff are trained to support children with special needs. We also partner with the Multnomah Early Childhood Program for evaluation and IFSP support.

Teen Parent Program
We welcome our teen parents to bring their children to our program for care. This is free and includes formula, diapers and other essentials while your child is in the program. We have staff ready to support with enrollment and resources.

To learn more and enroll your child in our teen parent program, please call or email Juani Santiago Remigio at santiago39@gresham.k12.or.us and (503) 674-5500 ext. 5575
