Title IVB: 21st Century Community Learning Centers
The 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant is a competitive federal grant that is focused on:
- Equity-driven academic enrichment
- A broad array of youth development opportunities
- Family engagement activities that are designed to improve student growth and achievement in high-poverty schools.
The Gresham-Barlow School District has been awarded this funding for Hollydale Elementary, Hogan Cedars Elementary, and Gresham-High School. The SUN program helps support the grant activities.

With this grant funding, Hollydale Elementary School and Hogan Cedars Elementary School are focused on literacy achievement with supports in the afterschool program. Gresham High School is focused on supporting Career and Technical Education (CTE) in afterschool programs. This grant allows the district to supplement and extend school-day offerings and provide greater access for all students.
