Becoming a partner with GBSD

 

To become a partner with GBSD, there are a few key steps.

  1. Determine what level of partnership you wish to have:

Informal- such as volunteering in a classroom or for a specific event

MOU- memorandum of understanding where services are delivered to students or staff at no cost to the district

Contract- agreement where services are delivered to students or staff with some cost to the district

Grant- agreement where the district receives money to deliver services to our students or staff

Other- research studies

  1. Identify the scope of services planned

 - generally this begins with a meeting at the school with their administrator or leadership

 - if in doubt, the Dept. of Innovation & Partnerships can assist                       

  1. Go through the formal partnership process

- review the steps laid out in the Partnership Inclusion Protocol (link here)      

  1. Revisit the agreement at least annually for any updates to the services

- the Dept. of Innovation & Partnerships will contact you every spring to renew and review the agreements in place
