East County Student Health Centers

WHAT IS A STUDENT HEALTH CENTER?

A Student Health Center is like having a regular doctor's office in school. It operates five days a week offering in-person, phone and video visits. We have a reception area, exam rooms, a lab, a mental health counseling room, and a dental hygiene chair. 

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

The Student Health Centers welcomes all K-12 youth who live or go to school in Multnomah County - even if they don't attend the school where the center is located. We welcome all colors, cultures, genders, sizes, and all races regardless of immigration status.

WHAT TYPES OF SERVICES ARE PROVIDED?

Students can access basic health services: yearly check ups or sports physicals;  immunizations; care for injuries; illness or asthma; and COVID testing. Mental health and dental hygiene services are also available and there are no out-of-pocket costs.

WHAT IS THE COST?

There is no cost for the services provided. 

DO I NEED PROOF OF INSURANCE TO BE SEEN?

The Center will see students with or without insurance and can help families check if they qualify for the Oregon Health Plan or other insurance.

WHERE CAN I GO FOR AN APPOINTMENT?

 

Reminder: Any youth in grades K-12 who live or go to school in Multnomah County can come to our clinics. You don’t need to attend the school where the center is located.
