Language Support That Helps Families Thrive

Gresham-Barlow School District is committed to ensuring that all parents and guardians have access to their student’s education—no matter what language is spoken at home.

During the registration process, families share their preferred language for communication. We use this information to provide important updates and information in the preferred language for each household.

To support our diverse community, we offer:

• Multilingual Community Liaisons for Spanish, Russian, and Ukrainian-speaking families. These liaisons help facilitate two-way communication and promote active family engagement.
   
• Telephone Interpretation Services are available in over 200 languages for school and district communication.
   
• In-Person and Virtual Interpreters are scheduled as needed for meetings, conferences, and other events.
