District immunization requirements can be found on the District Parent Resources page

    ParentVUE
ParentVUE will enable you to look at your student's current grades as well as look at assignment scores in detail. You can also access demographic information as well as grade information for all kids you may have in the district enrolled in other schools (i.e. Gresham High School, West Elementary, etc.). This is also a great way to track student work and to help foster conversations about your child's grades and classroom performance.
Visit the ParentVUE page for more information.

    New Beverage Rule
Students are allowed to bring water to school in clear plastic bottles. No colored containers will be allowed. The Student Store is selling water bottles that are accepted at school. There is a water filling station in the 6th grade hallway for student use. No other beverages will be allowed in the building with the exception of small juice boxes that students may bring and consume during their lunch.

    Free/Reduced Status
Parents/Guardians:  Dexter McCarty Middle School qualifies for free breakfast and lunch for all students under the USDA Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). If you only have children attending CEP schools, you should not apply for Free and Reduced-Price Meals (FARMS). If you have at least one child at a school that is not CEP, please submit an application for FARMS. See the district webpage for more information. AT ALL SCHOOLS, a la carte purchases have a cost to the family and must be pre-paid by account or in cash.  A la carte purchases include milk without a school meal, bottled water, chips, cookies, and other snack and beverage items that are not part of a school meal.

    Bus Information
    Parents and Community Members,
This notice is to inform you of our morning drop off and afternoon pick up routines that are followed throughout the school year. Because of the large numbers of buses that are utilized to transport our students to and from school our main parking lot is closed to non-staff automobile entry from 8:35 - 9:10 a.m. and 3:30 - 3:55 p.m.  It is a matter of safety for all involved that this is necessary. Parent pick-up/drop-off for students occurs along the sidewalk on SE 5th Street. Students who are picked up are instructed to walk to either end of the parking lot to the crosswalk areas in order to reach the vehicle that is transporting them.  Also, we ask that you are aware of and respectful of our neighboring property owners. Please do not park on the curbs or block adjacent property driveways. We appreciate your understanding and concern for the safety of all.
