Highland SUN Community School (SUN CS) is supported and run by El Programa Hispano Catolico, it's a place where students find academic, arts enrichment, skill building opportunities, and recreational activities at no cost. All Highland students are welcome and encouraged to participate in our activities through Highland SUN CS. We are excited about brining new partnerships to our SUN Community School like Girl Scouts of Oregon and SW Washington, AC PDX Soccer, Green Team, and Girls on the Run. Below is our Activity guide for the session and SUN Registration form for the school year.
In addition to our Extended Day activities, SUN Community Schools help families connect to local resources such as GED serivices, Rent and Energy Assistance, Housing, Food and Clothing pantries, Mental Health Services and much more! Please refer to http://elprograma.org/ for more information about our community services.
Who we are: EPHC SUN Community Schools support and empower students, families and communities by connecting them with diverse resources through culturally specific advocacy, high quality programming and leadership opportunities to achieve a holistic well-being.
