Mt. Hood Theatre Passes on SALE
Mt. Hood Theatre Matinee Passes go on sale beginning Monday, February 9 and end on Friday, March 2. Cost is $9.00 with a portion of that money returned to the school.
Passes are available in the school office. Make checks payable to: East Gresham
These matinee passes are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis, with a limited number reserved for each school.
Also, please remember, no parking in the parking lots of the adjacent businesses (Pizza Hut – Riegelmann’s – Chiropractor)
Friday and Saturday are the slowest days and Sunday and Mondays are the busiest. Check flyer for movie times (they vary).

Date: March 9th at Sam Barlow High School - 9:00 AM to about 2:00 PM
So what is the deal??
What: GBSD Cooking competition - Healthy Asian Fusion
- Students submit a healthy Asian fusion recipe
- Use the bonus ingredients to earn additional points
- Winner of the GBSD Cooking Competition will be entered into the National competition!
Who: All 5th Graders can submit a recipe, and one finalist from each school will be announced to prepare and cook their submitted recipe on March 9th at SBHS (parents or adults do not help their students during the cooking competition, so use caution helping students submit recipes).
When: Submissions are Due January 10th to the Kitchen Manager. Winners will be announced January 15th! Letters will be sent home to parents confirming participation of the event on March 9th at Sam Barlow High School, 9 AM to 2:00 PM.
Where: All elementary 5th grade students can participate. Event will be held on March 9th at Sam Barlow High School. Family, friends, teachers & principals are all welcome to attend. Sample your student's creations and cheer them on as they represent your school.
Why: Because it is fun!
End Of Day Release
Parents that are picking up their child must drive in the pick up line OR park car and pick up child from same area. We are trying to make transportation quick and easy for everyone! Children that are being picked up by bus or day care (van/bus) must exit through the front of the school.
Please know staff is doing everything they can to ensure your child gets home safe and correctly. If there are transportation changes you must contact the front office no later than 2:30pm in order for your child to get home correctly!
School Supply Fee
There is a $25 school supply fee for each of our students. The school supply fee at the elementary level will cover the entire year’s supplies for your student. This will also help ensure that each of our students has the specific school supplies need to fully participate in class. You can pay this at the office.
