Online Registration

Online Registration is open for new and returning students for the 2026-2027 school year. A student is considered “returning” if they are not currently attending a Gresham-Barlow School District school but attended in a previous school year.

Getting Started

1) Identify your home school using our School Locator.

2) Complete Online Registration by clicking one of the above options,

3) Provide necessary paperwork (either in OLR module, via email, or in-person)

Proof of student’s birthdate (birth certificate, state vital record, or passport)
Proof of address (one piece)
1. Rent or Lease Agreement with current dates OR
2. Mortgage Statement OR
3. Purchase Agreement such as an escrow agreement or contract for sale of real estate OR
4. Tax Bill for the current collection period OR
5. Utility Bill (such as gas, electric, water, garbage, or cable dated within the last 30 days)
Immunization Records
For high school, all of the above AND a transcript is needed.

4) Follow up with the school secretary regarding next steps.

WHO CAN REGISTER

Custodial parents/guardians who live within the Gresham-Barlow boundary can enroll their student
Students living apart from their parent/guardian with the housing support of a Gresham-Barlow resident (proof of address for the resident host is required)
Student living alone with no adults (McKinney Vento, Unaccompanied Youth)
Students new to US schools without complete residency documentation

Next Steps

After the online application has been accepted, the school will contact you for additional follow-up and may schedule a meeting, prior to your child's first day. This is important as you may receive school-specific forms to complete, class assignments, schedules, and other information to make your child's transition a smooth one.

Who can register online?

Online registration is only available if:

Your child has never attended a Gresham-Barlow School District school.
You are enrolling a new child in your neighborhood school

My student is already enrolled at a Gresham-Barlow School, do I need to register them for the upcoming school year?

No. If your student is already enrolled in a Gresham-Barlow School, you do not need to re-enroll them for the upcoming school year. In the Fall, we will ask you to verify your family and student's information. This is done through ParentVUE.

How secure is the online enrollment?

Online Registration uses a 256-bit, secure socket layer (SSL) encryption technology to protect information. The technology is similar to that used in other industries such as health care and banking.

Can I register more than one student through Online Registration?

Yes. Parents can register multiple new students in a household at one time.

Can I start my Online Registration now and finish it later?

Applications can be saved if more data entry is needed and reopened at a later time with the created username and password.

Once my online application is submitted can I go back and make changes?

No. In order to make changes to a submitted application, you will have to notify the school. The office staff can then make the changes for you. Once your registration or verification has been accepted, then you can log in again and re-submit to make additional changes throughout the year.

Can I access the Online Registration system from my smartphone or tablet?

Online registration can be accessed via a webrowser on a smartphone or tablet. However, for optimal user experience, we recommend using a desktop or laptop computer.

Why have I not received a confirmation email/status email after submitting an online enrollment?

If you have not received an email confirmation after submitting the enrollment, please review your junk or spam folder and mark @gresham.k12.or.us email addresses as safe.
