Affordable Connectivity Program

Students and families in need of internet access should apply to the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) at affordableconnectivity.gov. The ACP provides a discount of up to $30 per month on internet service for eligible households. If you already participate in the free and reduced-price meals program, then you will qualify for this program. There are other ways to qualify for this program. Note: you can no longer apply for this program after February 7, 2024.

Oregon Telephone Assistance Program

This is a federal and state government program that provides a monthly discount on phone or broadband service for qualifying low-income Oregon households. You can learn more and apply at https://www.oregon.gov/puc/Pages/Oregon-Lifeline.aspx

Comcast's Internet Essentials Program

Free for low-income customers for 60 days and $9.99/month after that. Learn more at https://www.xfinity.com/learn/internet-service/internet-essentials/apply

Multnomah County Library

The library has some great resources that are available for free, including computers and hotspots.  Find the closest library location on their website.
