IN-DISTRICT TRANSFERS - OPEN MARCH 1-JULY 31
In-district transfers are for students living within the Gresham-Barlow School District who want to attend another Gresham-Barlow school outside of their attendance area.
The Gresham-Barlow School District is now processing in-district transfer requests for the 2026-27 school year between March 1 through July 31. The form to submit a request is linked below.

You will be notified of a decision via email after review of all requests, often closer to the beginning of May. Please note: Kindergarten and 1st Grade requests may not be decided upon until late August after new registrations are received. This can also be the case for other grade levels, depending on class size.

INTER-DISTRICT TRANSFERS - CLOSED
Transfer Into Gresham-Barlow Schools:
Parents or guardians seeking a transfer into the Gresham-Barlow School District must obtain an inter-district transfer release from their neighborhood school district. Check your district's website to learn about their application process.
Please know that a release from another district does not mean your student will be approved to enroll in a Gresham-Barlow school. All transfer decisions will be based on class size in the grade and school requested.

Transfer Out of Gresham-Barlow Schools:
The application period to request a transfer out of Gresham-Barlow to another district is open between May 1-31 each year. The form to submit a request will be available on this webpage during that time period.
If you live within the Gresham-Barlow School District and want your child to attend school in another district due to a hardship, please email inter-district-transfers@gresham.k12.or.us to request an application.
