Gresham High School’s automotive program opens career path for students to become technicians

Courses introduce students to vehicle maintenance and diagnostics

Students in Gresham High School’s four-level automotive program learn technician skills  through courses such as auto service technology, exploring mechanical technology, automotive science, and advanced topics. The program appeals to a wide range of students, from those wanting to learn how to keep and maintain their vehicles to students passionate about making this a career. 

Career-Technical Education programs of study feature a sequence of courses aligned to industry standards that integrate technical skills and knowledge with academic content. 

GBSD currently offers twenty-three CTE programs.
