GBSD hosts Suicide Prevention & Awareness Meeting for families

Support and resources available through schools and community

The Gresham-Barlow School District (GBSD) will host two informational meetings for families to share information about the District’s suicide prevention curriculum for students in grades 6-12. During the meetings, parents will learn about suicide warning signs and available community and school resources.  Time will be reserved for questions at the end of each session. Sessions will be in English and Spanish.

The same information will be shared at both meetings. Parents can attend the meeting which best fits their schedule.

Snacks and childcare services will be provided. Pre-registration is recommended. 

The school district delivers suicide prevention curriculum as part of Adi's Act and Senate Bill 52.
