Gresham-Barlow School District announces administrative changes for 2023-24
Cook, Ravenberg, and Collins to serve in different capacities
Below are District-level administrative changes for the 2023-24 school year. All changes go into effect July 1, 2023. Please join us in congratulating these individuals on their new positions!
Meagan Lutu appointed to assistant principal of Dexter McCarty Middle School
Ms. Lutu currently serves as an assistant principal at Ron Russell Middle School in the David Douglas School District (DDSD). Prior to joining the administrative ranks, she taught physical education and health for several years. She also worked as the DDSD community sports director and district wellness coordinator. She has also coached volleyball. She replaces Kelly Muskat who has been appointed principal at Powell Valley Elementary School.
Michele Cook appointed to Director of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support
Previously she served as Executive Director of Student Support Services. Before that, she served as the principal of Powell Valley Elementary School for ten years. She has also worked as a student management specialist and positive behavior support coach.
Donna Ravenberg appointed to Executive Director of Student Support Services
Ms. Ravenberg currently serves as the District’s Director of Special Education Services. Before that, she served as a special education program director. She has taught special education at the elementary and secondary levels.
Amoreana Collins appointed to Student Support Services Office Manager
Ms. Collins is currently a team secretary for the Student Support Services Office. She has also worked as an educational assistant and was the head secretary at Powell Valley Elementary for seven years. Current Student Support Services office manager Linda Kue will be the Gresham High School office manager next year.


Corbin Mathews appointed to Student Support Services Program Director
Mr. Mathews currently serves as a Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) in the GBSD’s special education department and is the special education administrator for the District’s summer program. Before becoming a TOSA, he was a member of the District’s Behavior Social Team. He has also worked as a site coordinator/TOSA in the Structured Skills Center and as a case manager/individualized education program (iep) coordinator. In addition to working at the District level, he has taught at the middle school and high school levels.
