Carla Piluso is in her third term on the Gresham-Barlow School Board. In addition to serving as a school board member, in January of 2015 Carla was sworn in to the Oregon House of Representatives. She represents District 50, which includes south Gresham and a small portion of SE Portland.
Carla worked for the Gresham Police Department for 30 years. She served as chief of police for six years before retiring.
Carla has always made community service a priority. She has served on several philanthropic boards, including Human Solutions, SnowCap Community Charities and the Salvation Army. Carla’s daughter Kate graduated from Gresham High School and Willamette University. She currently teaches at-risk youth in New Jersey.
